Lamborghini to Launch Temerario Sports Car as Digital Collectibles in the Metaverse
Automobili Lamborghini is set to debut its latest sports car, the Temerario, in the metaverse. The luxury car manufacturer will offer limited edition digital collectibles of the Temerario and its GT3 counterpart in the open-world metaverse Wilder World. The digital cars will be available for purchase at $300 each starting July 11, mintable on platforms including Wilder World, OpenSea, and Lamborghini's Web3 platform Fast ForWorld.
The move comes despite waning interest in the metaverse, which saw a surge in HYPE during the 2021 bull market. While many companies have shifted focus to artificial intelligence, Lamborghini remains committed to digital innovation, partnering with Animoca Brands last year to develop Web3 experiences for its audience.
